Georges Rocourt
Georges Rocourt is Executive in Residence and Professor of Management & Finance at Franklin College Switzerland, located in Lugano.
Prior to joining Franklin in 2003, he lived in Miami for 14 years where he was Adjunct Professor of Finance & Economics at Barry University, teaching at the main campus and in the Executive MBA program in Kingston Jamaica. Previously in Miami, Mr. Rocourt had served as Senior Vice President for Investment Strategy at Ganz Capital Management.
During the late 1970s and 1980s, he was Chief Economist for Mercantile Bancshares Corporation of Baltimore Maryland (since merged into PNC Bank.)
Mr. Rocourt did his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois, and his graduate studies at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore Maryland. He also taught at several institutions of higher education in the Baltimore / Washington DC area.
