Laura La Posta, Editor-in-chief, Il Sole 24 Ore Rapporti24 will speak on Hidden gems: Italian SMEs defying the crisis.
Laura oversees Il Sole 24 Ore's weekly pages, Rapporti24, published on Tuesdays, that focus on international and Italian economic analysis. She directs the publication of 45 supplements to the newspaper, creating teams of journalists specialized in such themes as green economy, energy, industry, design, and tourism with a special focus on "Made in Italy."
She is a senior contributor to Il Sole 24 Ore group publications on energy, sustainable development and feminine leadership and is a frequent moderator at national and international conferences in these sectors.
Laura has won a variety of journalism prizes, such as the 2008 Anima award for social citizenship.
Prior to entering Il Sole, she began her career freelancing as a sports reporter for Il Mattino. She arrived at Il Sole 24 Ore beginning at the innovation supplement Informatica, then New economy, then @lfa, then Nòva24, where she was frequently on assignment in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, covering tech news in that region. She served as editor-in-chief of @lfa and Nòva24.
Laura is a native of Napoli and earned her degree in political science specializing in EU law and economy from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. She attended the two year Ifg Carlo De Martino School of Journalism, before entering Il Sole 24 Ore.
She is married and is the mother of two children, 7 and 5 years of age.
